Nicosia, Malta - 28.02.2008. It is with some element of pride and pleasure that TCC announces formally that the company has become the sole distributor for its fourth market for RS Components in Cyprus.

Trading as TCC Cyprus, a wholly owned subsidiary of TCC Malta, the business will officially commence trading on Monday 7th April 2008.

Founded in 1937, RS Components has grown to become one of the leading worldwide distributors of electronic, electrical and mechanical components, health and safety products and associated tools with a reputation for the highest quality of product, service and delivery standards. As well as RS Components in the UK, RS provides its services to over 160 countries worldwide supporting over 1.5 million engineers and technicians.

The Greece project is the second subsidiary TCC have opened outside Malta, having opened its now very successful Greek business in late 2006. The Cyprus opening reinforces TCC's International ambitions, and takes the Company further across the Mediterranean Basin.

"Cyprus is our fourth and latest exclusive distributorship for RS Components following our previous appointments in Malta, Libya and Greece", commented Mr Paul Stoner, Chairman of the TCC Group. Mr Stoner explained that this appointment was a natural extension for The TCC Group, with a number of natural synergies with our Greek operation being leveraged. "Our experience in the Greek market has taught us that there is, externally at least, very little difference between trading in Greece and Cyprus. Cyprus's move to the Euro in January 2008 made it even more suitable for TCC"

TCC Cyprus will channel its order taking and logistics through RS Greece, whilst having a significant local presence for Field Sales, Fiscal Services and Technical help.
